Chief Master Sergeant of the Space Force John Bentivegna and his spouse, Mrs. Cathy Bentivegna, visited several military installations in Okinawa on June 12, 2026, to gain insights into U.S. space operations in the region.
The visit included meetings with Guardians and Airmen at various bases, discussions on space-enabled communications, and observations of rescue, reconnaissance, and special operations missions. Mrs. Bentivegna also engaged with organizations supporting military families.
The tour highlighted the critical role of U.S. air and space forces in supporting joint operations, strengthening alliances, and maintaining regional security across the Indo-Pacific.
